Grŵp Llandrillo Menai is an umbrella organisation to oversee the operation of the three member colleges: Coleg Llandrillo, Coleg Menai and Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor. It began its first day of operation on Monday, 2 April 2012.

It is Wales' largest Further Education Institution and one of the largest FE college groups in the UK.[1] It employs 2,000 staff and delivers courses to around 34,000 students across four counties in campuses from Denbigh to Dolgellau, as well as business and research facilities.

Management Team

Glyn Jones OBE is the Chief Executive Officer of the Grŵp. He is supported in this role by an Executive Management Team comprising the Principals of each of the three member colleges: Dr Ian Rees at Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor, Dafydd Evans at Coleg Menai and Jackie Doodson at Coleg Llandrillo. Additionally, there are two executive directors: Kath Coughlin will head up Corporate Services across the Grŵp and Linda Wyn will lead on Academic Services.

Locations

Grŵp Llandrillo Menai has fifteen campuses across North Wales - Abergele, Bangor, Caernarfon, Colwyn Bay, Denbigh, Dolgellau, Glynllifon, Holyhead, Llangefni, Llanrwst, Parc Menai Pwllheli, Rhos-on-Sea, Rhyl and St.Asaph. The three main campuses are located at Bangor (Coleg Menai), Dolgellau (Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor), and Rhos-on-Sea (Coleg Llandrillo).
