Gruffydd Evans, Baron Evans of Claughton
David Thomas Gruffydd Evans, Baron Evans of Claughton DL (9 February 1928 – 22 March 1992), was a British solicitor and politician.
He was educated at Birkenhead School and, as Lord Evans, held the office of Deputy Lieutenant of Merseyside.
He was raised to the life peerage as Baron Evans of Claughton, of Claughton in the County of Merseyside, on 24 April 1978.[1][2]
