Grounded for Life: Season Five aired on WB between September 17, 2004, and January 28, 2005. It is the final season of Grounded for Life; it consists of 13 episodes, and is the first season to have every episode intact, with nothing removed or nothing added from another season. It is the first ever show to be switched to another network during a season. On September 27, 2007, Anchor Bay Entertainment/Starz released the complete fifth season, uncut on a two-disc set.
Notable guest stars in season five include Mila Kunis, Ryan Devlin, Dave Herman, Elizabeth Berridge, Alexa Vega, Tobey Maguire, Cerina Vincent, Brian McFayden and Arielle Kebbel.
