Grounded for Life: Season Three is the final season to air on FOX as the show switched to WB in the middle of the season. FOX only aired the first two episodes between 17 September 2002 and 24 September 2002. The WB picked up the show and aired nine episodes between 3 December 2002 and 9 May 2003, with the remaining two not originally airing, but did eventually air at later dates in syndication. 19 episodes were originally produced for the third season, but with the eleven episodes spread out over two networks and two episodes not airing, the remaining six are included in season four. Grounded for Life is the first ever television series to switch to another network during a season. On 8 August 2006 Anchor Bay Entertainment released the complete third season with all 13 episodes, uncut on a 2-disc set.
