Grindelia lanceolata is a species of flowering plant in the aster family known by the common name Narrowleaf gumweed. It is native to the south-central United States, with scattered populations further east. Its preferred habitat is limestone glades and rocky prairies.[1]
This species is a short-lived monocarpic perennial. It produces yellow flower heads in the summer.[2]
