Green End Primary School is an inner-city primary school in Burnage, Manchester, North West. The former 1920s/30s building was demolished and a new two-story environmentally friendly school was built in 2006 at a cost of £4.6 million.[1][2] The school was put on special measures by Ofsted in 2006,[3] but has since been turned around by Executive Headteacher Lisa Vyas. The school converted to academy status on 1 September 2013.
