The greater long-eared bat (Nyctophilus timoriensis) is a species of vesper bat in the Vespertilionidae family. It is found in the following countries: Australia,[1] Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea. The south eastern form occurs in the woodlands of the Murray Darling Basin[2][3] and adjacent areas,[4] and is now referred to as Nyctophilus corbeni.[5]
