Great Basin desert
Great Basin desert may refer to any of the named deserts all or partly in the Great Basin (e.g., Great Salt Lake Desert, Escalante Desert, Mojave Desert, etc.) or to:
- Great Basin Desert, a large area of the Great Basin which includes the Nevada salt deserts, 12 ecoregions in the Basin and Range valleys of Nevada; and the Central Nevada Desert, a hydrologic basin of several Nevada counties having <10 in (250 mm) annual precipitation
- Great Basin Province, in the Madrean Region of the Boreal Kingdom
- Great Basin shrub steppe, an ecoregion of the western United States
- North American Deserts, an EPA ecoregion generally corresponding to the Great Basin
