Clubs and activities

Granville's Latin Club functions as a local chapter of both the Ohio Junior Classical League (OJCL)[2] and National Junior Classical League (NJCL).[3]

Granville's Chamber Choir has received Outstanding and Superior marks at the sectional, regional, and state levels of the Ohio Music Education Association's (OMEA) annual competitions. The choir is under the direction of Kirsten Snyder. Snyder also directs GHS's Women's Chorus, Men's Chorus, Freshmen Girls, and ACE Singing Ensemble, all of which are considered Outstanding by the OMEA.

Granville's also hosts a number of student-led clubs such as the Bearded Man's Club, the Order of the Phoenix, the Granville Running Team, and perhaps most famously, the Flannel Friday Society, in which the members of said club don flannel outfits each Friday.

Granville also has a number of honor societies including National Honors Society, French Honor Society, Latin Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, the International Thespian Society, and a chapter of the Cum Laude Society.
