Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars soundtrack

The soundtrack of the video game Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is presented as a series of radio stations that can be heard when the players enters a vehicle or from the game menu. Unlike the radio stations featured in other games in the GTA series the ones in Chinatown Wars do not feature radio hosts, nor the advertisements and the music is purely instrumental. Radio stations from Grand Theft Auto IV can still be seen advertised on billboards around Liberty City, but they do not appear in the game.

The DS version of the game features only 5 stations, while the PSP edition of the game added 6 more. The 6 extra stations were also added to the 1.1.0 release of the iPhone/iPod Touch version of the game.

The names of the radio stations mainly correspond to the names of the musicians or record labels whose music is played on the station.

Music for the opening titles of gameplay is the track 'Chinatown Wars' performed by Ghostface Killah and MF Doom[1] and produced by Oh No of the Stones Throw Records.[2][3]
