Grand Master of Memory

First awarded in 1995,[1] the title Grand Master of Memory was previously awarded to people who are able to successfully negotiate the following three memory feats:

The standards need not be achieved at the World Memory Championships, nor do they need to be achieved at a single competition, but they must be achieved at competitions that have been officially approved and arbitrated by the World Memory Sport Council.[2]

As of January 2014, there are 149 Grand Masters of Memory in the world.[3]

The "master of memory" titles changed in 2013, with the addition of similar titles, International Master of Memory, and International Grand Master of Memory.[4]
