Gramy Records is a Hungarian record label spezialising in different forms of art music, such as jazz, world music and classical music.[1]
History
The company was founded in 1999 by Attila Egerhazi.[2] It is part of the Gramy Group, which includes not only the record label, but also a recording- and film studio, an office for graphic- and web design as well as an agency for advertisement and event management.
Among the internationally known artists, orchestras and bands who recorded albums for Gramy Records are, inter alia:
- Steve Hackett (British jazz guitarist and composer)
- Chester Thompson (US-American percussionist)
- Johanna Beisteiner (Austrian classical guitarist)
- Ben Castle (British clarinetist and saxophonist)
- Djabe (Hungarian jazz- and world music band)
