"Graduation Day" is a 1956 hit song by The Four Freshmen written by Joe Sherman with lyrics by his brother Noel Sherman.[1] The song, a single from the Capitol album Freshman Favourites, was quickly covered in singles by The Rover Boys 1956, The Lennon Sisters with bandleader Lawrence Welk 1956, Tommy Sands 1957, another hit single for Bobby Pickett 1963, The Arbors 1968, and later by The Beach Boys as the B-side to Brian Wilson's "Be True to Your School" in 1976.
