Govind Singh Dotasra is a member of 14th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly and Vice President of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC). He also holds the post of district congress president of sikar. Recently he is appointed as Congress deputy whip in Rajasthan Legislative Assembly by Congress party . He represent the Laxmangarh constituency of sikar district of Rajasthan. He is a member of the Indian National Congress.
Biography
Govind Singh Dotasra born on 1st October 1964 in a village Kripa Ram Ji Ki Dhani (कृपा राम जी की ढ़ाणी) in Sikar District of Rajasthan. He born in a purely non political family of Late Sri Mohan Singh Dotasra and Rupi Devi.
Political journey
He was a member of the 13th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from 2008 to 2013 in Ashok Gehlot Government List of members of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (13th house). In 2005 he was also elected as a Pradhan of Panchyat Samiti Laxmangarh, Sikar. He is an active member of congress party from 1981 by joining NSUI and from July 2011 he got an opportunity to work as a District President of Congress Party.
In his 1st tenure he fixed the biggest issue of Laxmangarh and that is Fluoride Water Problem. By his efforts Mr. Ashok Gehlot announce 832cr to bring water from Indira Gandhi Canal into the Laxmangarh in his budget speech 2010-2011 .
He represented Rajasthan in 24th Commonwealth Parliamentary Seminar 27 May to 1 June 2013 in Singapore.
