Governorates of Tunisia

Tunisia is divided into 24 governorates (wilayat, sing. wilayah):

The governorates are divided into 264 "delegations" or "districts" (mutamadiyat), and further subdivided into municipalities (Baladiyat),^[1] and sectors (Imadats).^[2]
