The Regional Government of Veneto (Giunta Regionale del Veneto) is the executive of the Veneto region of Italy.

The Regional Council has its seat in the Palazzo Ferro Fini on the north side of the Grand Canal, two Renaissance buildings that were acquired in 1972 and then extensively renovated.^[1] The council is presided over by the President of the Region (Presidente della Regione), who is elected for a five-year term, and is composed by the President and the Ministers (Assessori), who are currently 12, including a Vice President.

Current composition

The current regional government is in charge from 19 April 2010 and it is led by Luca Zaia.

List of previous governments

Luca Zaia is the ninth President of Veneto. His predecessor Giancarlo Galan (1995–2010) has been the longest-serving president of the region so far. Since direct election of the president was introduced, Venetian politics has become far more stable and governments generally last for a full term of five years.
