Gottfrid Cervantius Svensson (13 May 1889 – 19 August 1956) was a Swedish wrestler who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics and in the 1920 Summer Olympics.[1]
He was born in Uppsala and died in Stockholm.
In 1912 he was eliminated in the fourth round of the Greco-Roman lightweight competition.
Eight years later he won the silver medal in the freestyle wrestling lightweight class after losing the final to Kalle Anttila. Svensson also participated in the Greco-Roman featherweight competition but was eliminated in the second round after losing his fight to Enrico Porro.
