Gorson is a Duke of Hell in the service of Geryon, in the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game.
Publication history
Gorson first appears in Ed Greenwood's article "The Nine Hells Part I" in Dragon #75 (1983).[1]
Gorson was briefly detailed in Fiendish Codex II: Tyrants of the Nine Hells (2006).[2]
Description
Gorson appeared as a yellow-skinned, hawk-nosed human with black-hued eyes, small horns, a tufted lion-like tail, and black hooves. He wore robes of saffron and wielded a scimitar in battle. His voice was soft and cultured.
Relationships
Gorson was a vassal of Geryon, serving Geryon as his bailiff. Gorson was destroyed after the Reckoning of Hell, as a result of Geryon's demotion, along with Geryon's consort Cozbi and the pit-fiend Fecor.
Other publishers
Gorson appeared under the "devil" heading in the Tome of Horrors (2002) from Necromancer Games.[3]
