Gornja Stara Vas (pronounced [ˈɡoːɾnja ˈstaːɾa ˈvaːs]; Slovene: Gornja Stara vas, in older sources also Gorenja Stara Vas,[2] German: Oberaltendorf[2]) is a small settlement in the Municipality of Škocjan in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.[3]
