Gorci

Gorci or Gorsi is one of the clans of the Muslim Gurjars mainly settled in Jammu & Kashmir and Pakistan. They are considered highly prestigious among gujjars.Choudhry Rahmat Ali who was one of the earliest proponents of the creation of the state of Pakistan and is credited with creating the name "Pakistan" ; According to his biography by Khursheed Kamal Aziz, he was born into a Muslim Gujjar family his clan being Gorci.[1][2][3] in the town of Balachaur in Hoshiarpur District of Punjab (now Nawanshahr District), India.
