Gonoshasthaya Samaj Vittik Medical College
Gonoshasthaya Samaj Vittik Medical College is a private medical school and group of academic hospitals founded in 1998 in Bangladesh[1] through the Gonoshasthaya Institute of Health Sciences.
The college has five academic hospitals: Savar, Dhanmondi, Gazipur, Gaibandha and Pabna at Kashinathpur. Additionally, they have 17 primary health centers. The college enrolls over 500 students and more than 250 working graduates.
It is recognized by the government as well as The Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC). The courses are approved by The University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Ministry of Education.
Gonoshasthaya Samajvittik Medical College is listed by The University of Copenhagen in the AVICENNA Directory for medicine, a world directory of medical schools, with the help of the World Health Organization.[1]
