Goniothalamus thwaitesii is a species of small tree in the Annonaceae family. It is endemic to Western Ghats of India and Sri Lanka.[1] [2]
Leaves
Leaves simple, alternate, and distichous. Lamina is oblong to narrow elliptic-oblong. Blunt apex is acuminate. Base can be acute to subattenuate.
Flowers
borne solitarily and axillarily.
Fruits
sessile, one-seeded clustered berry.
Ecology
rain forest understory.
