Goniothalamus gardneri is a species of plant in the Annonaceae family. It is endemic to Sri Lanka.
Leaves
oblong to narrowly elliptic, acute ends, lateral veins 14-20 pairs.
Trunk
poorly branched, young branchlets sparsely pubescent.
Flowers
green to yellow, solitary, axillary.
Fruits
orange-yellow, up to 20 smooth fruitlets.
Ecology
rain forest understory.
Culture
Known as කටු කෙර (katu kera) in Sinhala.
