Goluwala is a town and a mandi in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan, India. It is divided into two Panchayats – Nivadan and Sihagan. It is an industrial town located some 30 km west of Hanumangarh. Goluwala can be reached from Pilibangan, the nearest railway station. It is 18 km off National Highway NH-15. It is known as "Goluwala the Golden City".
Demographics
At the 2001 India census,[1] Goluwala had a population of 7750. Males constituted 51% of the population and females 49%. Goluwala had an average literacy rate of 61%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy was 68% and female literacy 53%. 16% of the population were under 6 years of age.
