Goldsboro High School
Goldsboro High School is a public high school located in Wayne County, Goldsboro, North Carolina. Goldsboro High School was classified as a 2-A school with an enrollment of 858 students (2007-2008), but now is classified as a 1-A school.[1]
The school's mascot is the Mighty Cougars, and the school colors are navy and gold.

Andy Griffith also taught Music at Goldsboro High School for a few years. He is credited by many for creating the high school's marching band, which, to date, has been one of the most prolific high school bands in history.
