Gokulam Gopalan is a businessman, film producer and distributor from Kerala, India

Biography

Gopalan was born on 23 July 1944 to an ezhava/thiyya family in Vatakara.[1] He is a BSc Mathematics graduate from Government College Madapally. He started off his career in Chennai as a medical representative. Now he is the chairman of Sree Gokulam Public School and the managing director of the Gokulam Group of companies, including Sree Gokulam Chit & Finance, the Sree Gokulam chain of hotels and Sree Gokulam Medical College & Research Foundation.

Gopalan is also the Chief Editor of 'GOKULAM SREE' Magazine. He has risen to fame with the production of the Malayalam film Pazhassi Raja. His upcoming movie project is Randamoozham (Second Turn), written by M. T. Vasudevan Nair. This movie by will be directed by Hariharan.

He is the leader of the Sree Narayana Dharma Vedi (SNDV) [2] and the president of Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam (SNDP) branch in Chennai.[3]
