God's Love We Deliver

God's Love We Deliver is a non-profit charity organization based in New York City which deliver meals to home bound people with AIDS. God's Love we deliver was co-founded by Ganga Stone and Jane Best in 1986 and began with meals delivered by bicycle which were donated by about fifty restaurants.[1] As of 2011 the concern brought over 4,000 meals a day to home bound sufferer's of the disease.[2] Joan Rivers chose the organization as her charity to play for when she was a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice. The comedienne won the competition and earned $250,000 for the group.[3]

In 2013 God's Love We Deliver temporarily relocated its main offices from Soho to the New York City borough of Brooklyn while a new six story headquarters building named for patron Michael Kors and designed Gerner Kronick + Valcarcel Architects was and is being finished. The new structure will replace the old one which was named for another of the food bank's largest patrons, David Geffen and in which it had been located since 1995.[4][5][6]
