Go to the Top (song)
"Go to the Top" is the fifty-third single by Japanese singer Koda Kumi, released on October 24, 2012. The single debuted #2 on the Oricon Daily Charts [1] and moved up to #1 by the second day.[2] It was also her first single to take the #1 Weekly spot since 2009's Alive/Physical Thing.[3] The b-side, "Darling," was written by Kumi and talks about the experience of love. The single is certified Gold for shipment of 100,000 copies.[4] The a-side single also functions as the opening theme song of the anime, Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse.
Information
There are two versions of the video for "Go to the Top." The first is the music video which was made in an anime style, while, on the Total Eclipse Ver., there is the full opening for the anime, which was not televised.
