Gloving

Gloving is a modern dance form that involves movements of the hands and fingers. Glovers wear flashing LED microlights underneath gloves to give light shows to a seated recipient.

Gloving has spread worldwide as both an art form and a competition. The fourth annual International Gloving Championship was held on November 15, 2014 at the Yost Theater in Santa Ana, California with over 500 competitors and spectators.[1]

Gloving can be traced back to California raves in the early-to-mid 2000s,[2] when ravers were giving light shows with other light-oriented dances called "glowsticking" and "glowstringing" [3]
