Leaves
lanceolate, acute ends, sometimes unequal-sided, sickle-shaped.

Bark - pale, lenticellate.

yellowish on slender pedicels.
Fruits
small, depressed, 3- or 6-lobed, glabrous capsule capped by style.
Ecology
rain forest understory of low montane and wet zones.
