Global Village (Dubai)
Global Village Dubailand, Dubai, is claimed to be the world's largest tourism, leisure and entertainment project. It is the region's first cultural, entertainment, family and shopping destination. Every year, it has over 5 million visitors over an area of 17,200,000 sq ft (1,600,000 m2).[1]

Global Village’s 18th season began on 5 October 2013 and closed on 12 April 2014.
Timings
Global Village operates seven days a week, and opens its gates to visitors From Saturday to Wednesday from 4:00pm-12:00am, and opens until 1:00am on Thursday, Friday, and public holidays.
Parking area
The parking area at Global Village was designed to host more than 17,000 cars with additional overflow parking areas used during peak times. Free parking shuttles are operated round the clock during the operating hours to transport visitors to and from the overflow parking areas.
History
Global Village started out in the form of a number of kiosks in 1996 located on the Creek Side opposite to Dubai Municipality. It then later shifted to the Oud Metha Area near Wafi City for 5 years.Today, Global Village has 6 million visitors at its current location in DubaiLand.
