Gliese 809
Gliese 809 is a red dwarf in the constellation Cepheus. At approximately 23.0 light years away, its visual magnitude is 8.55. Gliese 809 is the primary component of a multi-star system. Gliese 809 has a metallicity is -0.11 (77.6% of the Sun). It is going at a velocity of 31.1 km/s relative to the Solar System. Its galactic orbit is 21,300 Ly at its perigee and 30,600 ly at the apogee in its orbit of the center of the galaxy. It has an eccentricity of 17.8% with the semi-major axis at 7,958 pc and the semi-minor axis at 7,831 pc.[1]
