Glenn Riggs (July 24, 1907–September 12, 1975)[1] was an American radio announcer.[2]
Riggs' voice could be heard on various radio programs throughout the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. Some of those radio programs included Vic and Sade,[3] The Adventures of Jungle Jim,[4] The Three R's,[5] Hop Harrigan,[6][7] Ethel and Albert, Boston Blackie,[8] and Philco Radio Time.[9][10]
Riggs was also famous for being the announcer for Bing Crosby for more than a decade and the announcer for the original 1958 version of the game show Make Me Laugh.[11]
