Glen Duff

The A3 Castletown to Ramsey Road at the 21st Milestone at Glen Duff near Sulby, Isle of Man.

Glen Duff (Manx: black or dark glen)[1] is situated between the 21st Milestone and 22nd Milestone road-side marker on the Snaefell Mountain Course used for the Isle of Man TT Races on the A3 Castletown to Ramsey and the road junction with the B14 Road of the Ayre (Bernaharra Road) in the parish of Lezayre in the Isle of Man.

Glen Duff was part of the Four Inch Course used for the Tourist Trophy automobile car races held in the Isle of Man between 1908 and 1922. Glen Duff is part of the Snaefell Mountain Course used since 1911 for the Isle of Man TT Races and from 1923 for the Manx Grand Prix.

The Engineering Work Section, Highways Division of the Isle of Man Department of Transport has depot at Glen Duff including a warehouse known as the igloo for storing road salt for treatment or roads during the winter in the Isle of Man.
