Glasgow First is a political party based in Glasgow, Scotland. It was formed in March 2012 after a series of Labour members of Glasgow City Council, said to be a fifth of their number[2] either resigned or lost the whip.[3]
The new party stood twenty candidates in the Glasgow City Council election, 2012[4] with one elected.
However, on 6 February 2015 Cllr Stephen Dornan joined the Scottish National Party leaving the party without representation on Glasgow City Council.
