Glödnitz (Slovene: Glodnica ) is a town in the district of Sankt Veit an der Glan in the Austrian state of Carinthia.
Geography
The Glödnitz River is a tributary of the Gurk in the northwest of the Gurktal Alps. The municipality of Glödnitz borders on Styria and the municipalities of Metnitz, Weitensfeld im Gurktal, Deutsch-Griffen, and Albeck.
