Gjoko Zajkov (Macedonian: Ѓоко Зајков; born 10 February 1995) is a Macedonian professional football player, currently playing in club Stade Rennais F.C.

Early career

Zajkov began his football career with FK Rabotnički.

Career

Born in Skopje, Gjoko Zajkov was playing in Macedonia with Rabotnički youth team, when in summer 2012, he plays in the first team Rabotnički to play in the Macedonian First League.He was the best defender that year,at an age of 17.

On 23 June 2014 he left Macedonia to engage with the French club Stade Rennais F.C., for whom he signed a three-year contract.^[1]

International career

He has been a member of Macedonian U-19 and U-21 national teams.

Style of play

Gjoko Zajkov has a very strong header and most of his goals achieved with it. He isn't very fast player,but,for defender,it's good enough.He has potential to be on of the best player of his position one day.
