Gjinovec (Macedonian: Ѓиновец) is a village in the Trebisht Municipality of the Dibër District, within Dibër County in northeastern Albania. It is situated within the Golo Brdo region, near the border with the Republic of Macedonia.
Demographics
A demographic survey of the population of the village, done in 1873, recorded the village has having 90 households with 134 male Christians residents and 118 male Muslim residents.[1]
According to a 2007 estimate, Gjinovec's population was 314.[2] Macedonian is spoken in the village.[3]
