Giuseppe Gentile (born 4 September 1943 in Rome) is a retired Italian triple jumper, who won a bronze medal at the 1968 Summer Olympics.
Biography
Giuseppe Gentile won four medals, at senior level, at the International athletics competitions.[1] He participated at two editions of the Summer Olympics (1968, 1972), he has 33 caps in national team from 1962 to 1972.[2] After his sporting career, he was also an actor in some films. He appeared opposite Maria Callas in the film version of Medea by Pier Paolo Pasolini, in the role of Jason.[3]
