Girdwood Airport (FAA LID: AQY) is a state-owned public-use airport located three miles (5 km) northeast of the central business district of Girdwood, in Anchorage Borough, Alaska, United States.[1]

As per Federal Aviation Administration records, this airport had 2 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2005 and 8,100 enplanements (all unscheduled) in 2006.[2] According to the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2007–2011, it is a general aviation airport.[3]

Girdwood Airport also served as the Finish Line for the 12th season of the popular 5-time emmy winning reality TV show, The Amazing Race.
