Giovanni dal Ponte (1385 – ca. 1438), was an Italian painter.
Biography
He was born in Florence and worked in Assisi and Rome as well as his hometown.[1] He is known for genre works and historical allegories as well as religious works.[1] He died in Florence.
He is not to be confused with the much earlier painter Giovanni da Santo Stefano da Ponte (1306–1365).
