Ginny McQueen, (born Virginia McEwen,[1] October 12, 1981), also known as "g-chan" in cosplay world, is a cosplay model who makes her own costumes and has been cosplaying since 1998.[2] Her first convention was Otakon 1998 where she wore a costume from Gunsmith Cats.[3] Since then she has been featured in magazines, websites,[4][5] and on MTV.[2] She has also been a guest of numerous conventions both in the U.S. and abroad.[6] McQueen is known for the attention to detail her costumes show, and her modeling of the costumes she creates.[7] McQueen was featured in Cosmode issues 24 and 30 and writes articles on cosplay and other fandom subjects for Fandomania.[8]
