Ginifer railway station is located on the Sunbury line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the western Melbourne suburb of St Albans opening on 31 October 1982.[1]
Originally to be named Furlong, when opened it was named Ginifer, after Jack Ginifer a recently deceased local member of State Parliament.[1] Boom barriers were provided at the Furlong Road level crossing in 1984.[2]
Platforms & services
Ginifer has two side platforms. It is serviced by Metro Trains' Sunbury line services.[3]
