Gilad Janklowicz (Hebrew: גלעד ינקלוביץ'; born July 27, 1954) is a fitness personality best known for the longest running fitness show in the United States, "Bodies in Motion." and "Total Body Sculpt with Gilad "Bodies in Motion" is a half-hour aerobic workout show that launched in 1983. It was the first fitness show to air on ESPN, where it aired from 1985 to 1996. From 1996 to 2002, "Bodies in Motion" ran on Fox Sports and on The Health Network. Most recently, it aired on Discovery Fit and Health.[1] "Total Body Sculpt with Gilad" is a half hour sculpting workout show that launched in 2004. From 2004 to 2010, "Total Body Sculpt" ran on FitTV until Discovery put their health and fitness channels together. It currently runs on Discovery Fit and Health Gilad was born in 1954 in Israel. Janklowicz’s has been devoted to fitness since his high school days where he excelled in track and field. He eventually became a record holding decathlon athlete in Israel and a fitness officer in the military. Later, as an Olympic hopeful in 1980, he trained and competed alongside some of the best athletes in the world. Gilad was inducted into the Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 1991 He participated as an actor in movies Ruthless People, In Country and North and he appeared in an episode of the reality show America's Most Smartest Model.
