Giant Sparrow is an independent video game company based in Santa Monica, California.[3] Their first game, released in 2012, is the PS3 exclusive title The Unfinished Swan, a surreal maze game set in a completely white space.[4] The company's next project is What Remains of Edith Finch, a PS4 exclusive scheduled to release in 2016.[5]

The Unfinished Swan is a game set in a surreal, completely blank world, in which the player, a boy named Monroe, is chasing after a swan that has escaped a painting. The player must throw black paint at their completely white surroundings to reveal the world. The game was released for the PlayStation 3 on October 23, 2012.[4]
