'Ghosts of Utopia' is the first single to be taken from IAMX's fourth studio album "Volatile Times". It received its first radio airplay on Czech Radio 1 on January 23, 2010.[1] It was then made available as a digital download on February and also included a remix by Noblesse Oblige. Promotional copies of the single also included a second radio edit, which has a duration of 3:29.[2]
Music video
The music video was directed by Chris Corner and shows him surrounded by walls with Persian writing, as Alberto takes pictures and Janine is covered in a veil. It is the third IAMX video he has directed after "My Secret Friend" and the Alec Empire remix video of "I Am Terrified".
