Get the Funk Out is the second single from Extreme's second studio album Pornograffitti. It features rock artist Pat Travers
As the title suggests, the song is recorded in a funk metal style (appropriately featuring a horn section). The single was not successful in the United States but became a minor hit in the UK after reaching number 19 on the charts in June 1991.
The song was featured in the 1992 Hong Kong action film Full Contact.
