Get Blake! (formerly Blake and the Aliens) is a French/American children's animated television series. In September 2012, the series was announced as a co-production between the French animation company Marathon Media, the French television network Gulli and the American television network Nickelodeon in the USA.[1][2] The series is expected to premiere in 2015 in France.[3]
Plot
The series tracks the exploits of Blake Myers, an adventurous boy who is destined to one day become a space ranger who protects humanity from alien squirrels called "Squaliens". The alien squirrels, however, are sent back in time to prevent Blake from ever becoming the adult hero.[2]
Characters
- Blake Myers (Robbie Daymond) - Blake is 13 years old and is destined to be a space ranger as an adult. He is skilled at parkour which helps in escaping the Squaliens.
- Mitch de la Cruz (Spike Spencer) - Blake's best friend Mitch cherishes nothing more than their friendship and gets jealous whenever Blake's attention is diverted to someone else.
- Maxus (John T. Fisher) - the bossiest and shortest of the Squalien trio.
- Jerome (Danny Katiana) - the dimwit of the Squalien trio who is also the General's nephew.
- Leonard (Kevin Glickman) - the genius of the Squalien trio. He is always the one who invents the gadgets necessary for their missions.
- Squalien General - the Squaliens' commander who sent Leonard, Jerome and Maxus from the future to apprehend Blake before he becomes the space ranger he is supposed to become. As Jerome's uncle, he usually believes Jerome and doubts Leonard.
- Zorka - the resident contractor and also Roy's guardian.
- Skye Gunderson (Katie Leigh) - Blake's neighbor as well as love interest. She has a baby sister. She also volunteers as a dental nurse helping her father.
- Roy Cronk (Faruq Tauheed) - an elderly African American whose nerves Blake and Mitch often get on.
- Dale Myers (Derek Dressler) - Blake's Dad, and co-owner of the family travel business, "Let's Travel!".
- Darla Myers (Tarah Consoli) - Blake's Mom, and co-owner of "Let's Travel!".
- Rodrigo de la Cruz - Mitch's father who is also a skilled scientist/inventor.
- Carmen de la Cruz - Mitch's mother who organizes he town's block parties.
- Dr. Björn Gunderson - Skye's father who is the resident dentist and like her he also has gap teeth.
- Isabelle Gunderson - Skye's mother.
- Fast Eddy - the neighborhood dog.

Get Blake! first premiered on Nicktoons in the United Kingdom and Ireland on March 2, 2015.[3] The series debuted on Nickelodeon channels on March 8 in Greece,[5] March 14 in Russia,[6] March 16 in Latin America,[7][8] and April 6 in Germany.[9]
