Gerry Wilson (screenwriter)

Gerry Wilson is a screenwriter and script doctor.

Wilson's original screenplays include Robbery, Chato's Land, Lawman and the adapted screenplay of John Gardner's book A Complete State of Death.

In 1968 he was one of 28 part-time lecturers who was sacked from Guildford School of Art. He had been lecturing there on film criticism and was very popular with the film and TV students.

Since 1989 he has written teleplays for Scandinavian television.[1]

Originally from Ontario, Wilson now lives in Westport, County Mayo, Ireland.
