Georgios
Georgios (Γεώργιος) is derived from the Greek word γεωργός (georgos, "farmer" lit. "earth-worker"). The word γεωργός is a compound of γῆ (ge, "earth", "soil") and ἔργον (ergon, "task", "undertaking", "work").[1][2] The English name "George" is derived from it.
